The Pod Lab pods are compatible with the following Nespresso® coffee machines: Citiz, Lattisima, Lattisima, Premium, Lattissima Plus, Pixie, Essenza, Maestria, U, Inissia, Creatista, Prodigio.

Our pods are not compatible with Nespresso Vertuo machines, or the Sunbeam Multi-Capsule Espresso Machine (CM2000).  

Yes, your machine warranty should not be dependent on the type of pods used.  If you have any concerns, please refer to the manufacturer’s warranty information that came with your machine purchase or contact the manufacturer directly.

Our pods are made from plant based materials so sometimes they can swell after use, particularly if you've been making a few coffees in a short period.  But not to worry, simply pop them out gently by pushing down with your finger or a spoon and they will dislodge.  This won't damage your machine.  

All our pods are individually hermetically sealed and nitrogen flushed, meaning they will stay fresh for longer.  Each bag has a use by date on the bottom for reference - if they last that long before being drunk!

In terms of storage, you can keep in the handy bags or store on the bench - the pods will stay fresh wherever you put them!

All our pods are 100% Biodegradable.  So you can simply throw them away guilt free.  Alternatively, you can pop them in your compost at home and let the microbes do the work - rates of breakdown in home compost can vary significantly and can take longer than industrially set conditions.  You can also put your used pods in the green council bin and they will be commercially treated along with the rest of your green waste.

The simple answer is we aren't!  We do however love the ingenuity and convenience of the Nespresso®  system, and decided to make even more yummy pods that work perfectly in Nespresso®  machines.

All of our mailing boxes are 100% recyclable.

Our pod bags are all also fully recyclable and made with a low-density polyethylene (LDPE 4).  Our bags need to be recycled through the REDcycle program and not through your council recycle bin.

Our pods have been carefully manufactured to work well with almost all Nespresso® machines, and the extraction rates (the length of time taken to pour) should be relatively consistent with other pod brands in the market.

Of course given coffee is not an exact science, there may be some variability with different machines, or indeed between our blends.

As a guide, we recommend an extraction time of around 20 seconds to give the optimal shot of coffee from our pods.  

Ultimately, we suggest you test and learn until you arrive at the extraction that best suits your preference. 

We use standard shipping providers, which generally means you should expect your pods to arrive within 3-5 business days if your in VIC, QLD, SA, ACT, or NSW.

If you're in NT, WA, or Tasmania, you should allow another few days.

At this stage, we don't offer international shipping outside of Australia and New Zealand.

Our refund policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately, we can no longer offer you a refund or exchange.
